Owned and run by a driver
DeWitt Transportation LLC is owned and operated by Tim DeWitt, a former driver with over 3.5 million miles behind the wheel since 1997. We got federal operating authority in 2008 with one truck — the one Tim drove — and began building the fleet in early 2019.
Guaranteed pay was Tim's idea of taking away what he always thought was the worst part of driving a truck: the unpredictable, week-to-week income that comes with pay per mile or percentage-based pay.
